What we're thinking about content

Since the launch of our business 92 weeks ago, we have written 92 weekly blog posts of what we would like to believe is enlightening and entertaining content to our readers.

As a group we have been discussing for some time the future of the long-form posts we put out each week, given the deep amounts of time and planning that is required to deliver a high-quality piece with such consistency. Happily, we’ve come to a juncture in our business where we have three (yes three!) live products within one, interdependent and intertwined business, each helping to make the others better and stronger. And as much as we love producing long-form content every week, we have decided that business building is more deserving of our time right now as we begin to scale. We have always considered the newsletter to be our very first “product” and the 1,000 readers that receive it each week are all kept up to date with what we are up to all around.

Going forward we will produce an enlarged “What we’re thinking” segment in each of our weekly newsletters that will incorporate many of the thoughts and ideas behind the long-form blog posts and we will still, with great excitement, write longer standalone blog posts as and when there is something we specifically wish to get stuck into!

Our content was always designed to be something everyone in our team contributes to on a weekly basis, both on the blog and in the newsletter. What we are reading, listening to, doing and thinking combines to illustrate the group consciousness of our team. At the end of the day, it is there for our readers to enjoy and we would love to hear whether this is a change you like (or not).
